I took full advantage of perfectly sunny days and sea breezes to cool me as I painted this view of the Pacific Ocean above Sunny Cove Beach in Santa Cruz, CA.
With no distractions, no need for me to prepare my own meals, and my own personal time to do whatever I pleased, I was in a kind of seventh heaven. In fact, I pinched myself to see if I was dreaming!
I painted 90% of this en plein air and completed a few details indoors on the same day.
