Temporarily "on hold":
If you’ve been following my art posts, you know how
much I love to paint water themes, especially when it’s too hot for me to paint outdoors (It’s 100°F at night here), I find cool inspiration after viewing my photos file.
The blue fishing boat in Newport Bay in Oregon attracted my attention. Orange floats were a visual contrast and complement to the cool dominant blue. A slight wind caused shimmering ripples that reflected the towering masts and various shapes on the water.
